As you may have heard, Galein Maxwell was arrested today in New Hampshire, on charges

stemming from her role in the sexual exploitation and abuse of multiple minor girls by Jeffrey

Epstein.

This comes directly from the federal prosecutors at the Southern District of New York.

You'll be hearing a lot from me on September 16th when the next season comes out.

We're going to have a lot more information about Maxwell's arrest and what it means.

We thought we should refresh our episode on Maxwell from last season right away, as listeners

may be wondering how she fits into this horrifying story.

According to witness statements and stacks of evidence, she played a central role in Epstein's

organized network of abuse, including according to some actively participating in the sexual

abuse of girls.

Some argue that Maxwell was the real driver of the sexual abuse operation.

Many have said she ran it, not Epstein.
