y'all are experiencing this problem but I think on some platforms the audio

only version of our Noelcast Memphis preview

may sound corrupted so that's not great what else is not great is that we both have to get on the road now so we will not be able to record another edition of that show for you.

That's sad, but that's also just the reality.

Didn't realize that that had happened when I listened to it.

I was not picking that up.

anyway it sounds like for those of you who are able to replicate the error that we had we did not get the

rest of the Memphis side of the preview.

Memphis is probably an improved defense.

It is notable that some of the kids they took in as transfers

aren't exactly cracking the starting lineup and that means that whatever improvement they're relying on is basically like new scheme and coaching but also

Improvement from the existing players now that is important to note because those existing players were on a defense that

ranked 111th last year in Bill Connolly's defensive SP Plus and we're really

wanted just the worst defenses in the entire country.

Their defensive grades in the first couple of games have been kind of mixed.

Important to note here that Troy's backup quarterback because Memphis knocked the starter out was quite effective against them in this ball game

earning pretty high marks from PFF and the other grading services in fact one of the higher rated
