When I went and talked with Donna, she was in Phoenix, visiting with family for a few days.

She was eager to share her story, almost like she needed to lift a heavy weight off

her shoulders.

Even after so many years, she was visibly shaken and very emotional.

The scars of that experience and so many others run deep and it's clear that she never

quite recovered.
