So if you're a democratically leaning individual in the U.S., it's been a kind of a rough week.

It's been a strange week, for sure.

Culminating in the announcement that Justice Kennedy, a moderate on the Supreme Court,

is going to be retiring at the end of this term at the end of July.

And I think that's put a lot of people into a panic.

I've seen a lot of people on Twitter trying to offer Justice Ginsburg vitamins or a liver

or a kidney if she needs it.

Yeah.

And I don't know if you saw the documentary on her life that came

out, the notorious RVG. She's sort of renowned for having this like incredible workout regimen

and being really full of vitality, even though I think she's 85. Yep. And Justice Kennedy is 82.

So, you know, she's, she's his senior. But there is good

news from science with respect to the chances of RBG continuing to be notorious for decades to come.

What's that? So there's a new study that came out from Italy. The lead author is Elizabetha Barbie,

and it's in the journal science. And essentially,

what the study has shown is that by looking at people who are over the age of 105, what they've noticed is that death rates plateau after a certain age, which is, you know, somewhere around

there. So when we think about like,

okay, when you're first born, there's a high risk of death in infancy, and then the rate kind of

drops down until you hit somewhere in your 30s, and then that rate starts creeping up.
