Welcome to the sports motivation podcast. This is your host, Nees Showbo. This is another episode of Up On Game. It's where I introduce you to something of value, whether it be a book, whether it be a new album that came out, whether it be a restaurant, whether it be an online business or IG page, something that I find a value that I want to introduce you to because I care about

You're everyday working, grinding, focusing to some degree on your goals, whatever it is

taking your business to the next level. And as fun as it is, there's also a lot of aspects

that can really, really take a toll on you from an emotional standpoint, right? So even just

think about in business, getting told no, you know,

in sports, failing to win, failing to accomplish your goal, not getting the playing time,

even though you're putting in all the work. And if you're not careful, if you don't learn

the art of managing your emotions, you will stop. That's a fact. Like, you will stop. And if you stop,

you will not get what you want. One of the most telling signs of anyone who's going to achieve

success is their persistence levels. Are you able to merely just keep going? Like, just don't stop.

You don't even have to do everything right.

Now, obviously, you want to do things right to get there more efficiently, more quick, with more speed.

However, you got to be persistent.

And so, anything for me that helps me to raise my emotional state, that helps me to balance out some of the

negative emotions, I got to put you up on. And I use all sorts of things. So obviously, I read

books. I listen to music. I eat healthy. I try to get good sleep and, you know, sometimes don't,

you know, but I exercise all of these things that we all know we need to do right but every

once in a while there's just like a song or like in this in this case a video that i listen to
