Summary

Understanding yourself is key. To understand yourself, you need to understand your past. To understand your past, you need to explore how you were raised. To know how you were raised, you need to think about your parents/guardians, and what beliefs you formed as you grew up. Reading books on parenting (even if you don't have kids) helps you understand yourself on a deeper level, and settle a lot of the inner conflict.
