Welcome to the sports motivation podcast. This is your host, Nees Showbo. This is another episode of Up On Game. It's where I introduce you to something that I find valuable. And I tell you about it because I care about you. And I hope that if you found something that was dope, free, and can help me, I hope you would tell me about it so that's what i'm doing that's

0:24.8

what i designed this for uh what i created this for and that's what it's all about all right so

0:28.7

i actually had someone who put me up on game on something and it changed the game for me and i

0:35.0

want to share that with you now all right so you guys have heard me talk a ton about the power of meditation. All right. Now you've heard me talking about a lot of

0:42.1

different apps from Headspace, Calm. I'm sure you can probably go on your Apple store right now

0:47.3

or whatever app you use and find a ton of different apps and methods for meditation. And honestly, it can be kind of overwhelming, especially if you're new to meditation and you

0:59.7

feel like you don't want to do it wrong, quote unquote.

1:02.9

So let me just tell you, meditation is kind of like exercise.

1:06.2

1:12.5

Like just start walking, you know, like just start going to the gym and exercising,

1:17.3

hopping on a treadmill. Anything is better than nothing. And anything is good, quite frankly,

1:22.5

especially when you're starting off. Now, as you get more advanced, of course, you can start

1:26.2

to experiment with different techniques and, you know, there's a ton of different styles and ways to do it. But you just

1:33.6

got to get started. Now, I want to recognize that some of you are in a place where you can't

1:37.7

just, you know, pay a certain amount for a subscription, especially when you're not really sure

1:43.3

if you're going to be using it

1:44.1

a lot. And maybe you just want to start off with something a little bit less, I don't want to say high

1:49.1

risk, because I don't really feel like any of these meditation apps are that expensive. But again,

1:53.4

everyone's in a different spot financially. And of course, you've got different priorities,

1:57.3

et cetera. All right. And at the end of the day, I like to have a lot of different

2:01.3

tools available for me, as I'm sure you do as well. So my friend Brad put me up on game on a

2:07.7

meditation app and a particular meditation within that app that I want to share with you.
