Welcome to the sports motivation podcast. This is up on game. This is where I put you up on game

0:06.4

on something new. And I take pride in that, much like my big brother, Delay, used to always brag about

0:12.3

all the things that he introduces to, even from the different flavors and now-lators. He wanted to

0:16.7

know, he wanted everyone to know, yo, I put you up on game. So here's where I put you up

0:21.1

on game. And today I want to put you up on game on something that I have recently begun

0:26.0

doing. So let me explain. You guys ever woke up in the morning and just felt like where the hell

0:31.2

am I at? Like what's going on? It's not even necessarily a negative state of mind. It's just

0:35.5

kind of like zombieish. It's like what's going on? And sometimes for me, that happens more often than I would like to.

0:42.3

And it takes a little while to get me out of it. And I was thinking about it. And of course, I have this morning routine that I have once I wake up and I get to my office and things.

doing this and that, why don't I do something to really wake myself up? And I had this feeling

1:05.6

a while ago and I tried different things like, you know, doing burpees or doing this, even taking

1:09.7

cold showers. And those things are helpful. However, it burpees or doing this, even taking cold showers. And

1:10.8

those things are helpful. However, it still didn't wake my mind up. Like, it didn't slap my mind

1:16.8

in the face. So here's the habit that I started that has been game changing. So first things first,

1:23.9

is I don't keep my phone in my room. I keep it in my office. And that's another thing I just

1:30.5

put you up on game on you need to do. But anyway, the reason why I say that is because I have an

1:35.4

iPad that I keep in my room. Now, in my room, we have this little nook in our room with two

1:41.2

big old love seat type chairs, a little desk right there, not a desk,

1:45.0

but a little coffee table, with a little lamp, it's where I sit and read at night, et cetera.

1:49.4

But what I've done is I've set up this little situation, put my iPad right there, and I have
