My day suggests the rug was only cut, not pulled out from under you,

Then there was moonlight.

It is the best-reviewed movie of the year.

Metacritic gave it a 99, meaning the top critics,

almost every single one of them gave it a perfect, perfect score.

Among people who've seen it, I have heard,

not praise, what is the word stronger than praise?

Devotion, himnals written to moonlight.

The Guardian says, it's a thrilling, deeply necessary work.

I did not like moonlight.
