relaxation practices, progressive muscle relaxation, different areas of the body to relax and

soften as a way to recharge and restore.

In today's episode, we're going to continue to explore what it means to unwind some

of this deep tension in the body, but in a slightly different way.

When a lot of us think about taking care of our body, specifically in relaxing muscles,

and then relieving tension, we might go to practices like yoga or different movement practices

that have a certain structure and put us in particular postures and get us into a certain

alignment so that the musculoskeletal system can sort of relax around itself without

having all of these different compensations that it gets into due to all of the porpoesters

we tend to find ourselves in throughout the day, and there's a role for that and a really

important purpose to that.

However, it can sometimes get us out of an intuition with our own body, an attunement

and a felt sense of what our body is actually asking of us, what it's communicating to us,

this soft subtle knowing of how it wants to move, what it needs, how it needs to express

itself in order to complete some sort of emotion or pattern of conditioning or something
