I'm Pete, joined by Darius and Mike. And Lakers lost a couple of games over this weekend, but that's not really what I want to talk about. Before anything else, this is an entertainment product, the NBA and the Lakers and basketball. This is all for fun, right? People go to work and they come home and they want to watch their team play. And above all else, Dee, they want to watch their team compete.

And the degree to which the Lakers checked out in last night's game in particular,

I think is so insulting to the fan base that above all else,

we just want to watch guys play hard and you know, and watch a team compete.

And if they're not good, they're not good.

Lord knows we've seen a few not good teams over the last decade.

But I thought last night and the effort, and this is far from the only game that's been like this, right, has been unacceptable to a degree that I'm struck by how unwatchable this team is. To the point where last night, I had a thought

to myself that I'd never had before watching a Laker game. I thought to myself, oh, I have to watch

the game. I have to watch the game.

It was during halftime after watching them turn the ball over 16 times in the first half

with no mental engagement whatsoever.

And I was doing something else.

I was following what's going on in Ukraine during halftime.

And it occurred to me, right?
