And we have some news.

Many weeks and over 300 emails later,

we have chosen a name for the alligator that is our new

indicator mascot. And we'll be doing our big reveal at the end of this episode but first

we wanted to address something else that lots of listeners asked about.

And that is merch.

Yeah, you are some merch hungry listeners.

We heard people wanting t-shirts and tote bags and hats the wicks.

Now I've screen printed a shirt or two in my day, but I don't know how to mass produce a shirt and sell it.

So that got us curious about the business of merch, especially

concert merch, you know, one of the OG categories of merch.

So we thought we tracked down a well-known veteran of the music swag scene, Doc McKee.

He's the longtime manager of the rock band Kiss, which is notorious where it's over-the-top

pyrotechnic-filled performances but also known for being a merchandising

juggernaut.
