Summary

In this episode of You Can't Make This Up, we are talking about “Untold: The Girlfriend Who Didn't Exist" out now on Netflix. Host Rebecca Lavoie interviews directors Ryan Duffy and Tony Vainuku. Notre Dame’s Manti T’eo was already one of college football’s biggest stars. His stature grew when he revealed his longtime girlfriend died at the beginning of his senior season. But on the eve of going pro, reporters uncovered his online girlfriend never existed. At a time when the public hadn’t heard of catfishing, football fans were left to wonder how T’eo could be duped by someone he never met…or whether he was actually in on the hoax. SPOILER ALERT! If you haven't watched “Untold: The Girlfriend Who Didn't Exist" yet, make sure to add it to your watch-list before listening on.
