I hope you're ready right now to get your mind aligned with the Truth of God's Word.

I'm excited to get into the passage that we have today.

But before we get there, I want to ask you if you would be in prayer for me and my wife.

We believe the Lord is calling me back into full-time pastoral ministry.

Now I don't think this will have any effect on the Morning Mindset.

I fully intend to continue publishing these daily episodes.

All right, today we're going to be looking at one verse in John chapter 11, verse number 54.

Now remember, Jesus just raised his friend Lazarus from the dead

and the religious leaders are circling the wagons to defend themselves against this popular new preacher

who's rising up and they're making plans to arrest him and to potentially kill him.

So John chapter 11, verse 54, reads this way.

Jesus, therefore, no longer walked openly among the Jews,

but went from there to the region near the wilderness to a town called Ephraim,

and there he stayed with the disciples.
