Summary

Today, people’s interest in the end times seems to be at an all-time high. That concern, however, is not always translated into everyday life. How can we live in light of Christ’s return? In his eight-part series, Until Christ Returns, Dr. Michael Youssef uses the example of the Thessalonians to encourage Christians not to be deterred by persecution, fear, or human pride, but to actively and outwardly serve the living God, confidently awaiting His return even in turbulent times.

0:46.3	While they often do not know and don't even ask or comprehend why the reason for having

1:02.8	And it's found in verse 13 of chapter 4 of 1st Thessalonians.
1:06.6	Turn to it with me as we continue in this series of messages.
1:12.4	Verse 13 says, we do not grieve like those who are without hope.
1:19.7	See, the Bible does not say we do not grieve.
1:22.8	Paul does not say that we don't grieve over our loved ones when they gather glory,
1:28.7	that we don't shed tears over our loss, or that we don't feel deep sorrow in our hearts, or that we don't feel
1:36.1	that emptiness that their departure brings. No. He said, we just don't grieve like those
1:43.2	who have no hope. Our grieving is very different.
1:46.8	Our grieving is saying goodbye to someone whom we're going to meet again. And meeting again,
1:52.3	make no mistake about it, we will. And the truth is, every time a believer goes to heaven,
