Summary

Today, people’s interest in the end times seems to be at an all-time high. That concern, however, is not always translated into everyday life. How can we live in light of Christ’s return? In his eight-part series, Until Christ Returns, Dr. Michael Youssef uses the example of the Thessalonians to encourage Christians not to be deterred by persecution, fear, or human pride, but to actively and outwardly serve the living God, confidently awaiting His return even in turbulent times.

0:23.8	But that interest in the in times and the return of the Lord
0:29.2	is not being manifested into the lives of the believers.

0:38.9	There were tens of millions of copies of the left behind series books sold.
0:47.7	And yet the number of Christians who tithes give the 10% back to the Lord is less than 2.6%.
0:55.6	While in times conferences draw tens of thousands of people, prayer meetings draw only a tinyful
1:06.4	each time.
1:09.3	In time's material literally snapped so fast, and yet less and less and less Christians are willing
1:17.9	to witness for their faith publicly.
1:22.0	How can anyone be truly waiting for the return of the Lord.
1:28.3	And they live this life as if they're going to be here forever.
1:33.1	Even the secular-minded are getting on the bandwagon in movie making and television programs.
1:40.6	There are all sorts of movies and banking on this in-time thing, Armageddon, end of the world,
1:47.8	the Nostodama's prophecies, the end of the Aztec calendar.
1:52.8	And yet Christians and non-Christians seem to be acting alike.
1:56.4	They just kind of interested in the subject.
