and today I'm chatting with Ruth, Sukup about unstuffed.

We have this kind of do-it-yourself mentality in our culture, especially with women where

we think we can just fix everything by putting everything in the right box and figuring

it all out.

If we read the right books and if we do the right stuff, then we check off the right lists

and we participate in the right activities, then we're going to get the life that we want.

And a lot of times it doesn't work that way.

And so, you know, I talk a little bit about balance from that perspective and realizing

in my own life that balance doesn't mean like figuring out, you know, the right perfect

way to distribute my time so that it's all even.

It means it's not really something I can even do.

Balance is only what happens when we stop doing and we just rest.

When I say the word clutter, you probably think of your home, maybe your car.

Are you drowning in stuff like I am?

I don't know.

It just feels like I have this love-hate relationship with things.
