This big story came to me from the victim's sister Rosalie. Now this was the third time that I received

1:05.3

a request from someone asking me to cover the story of their sister or friend.

1:10.9

And I honestly never imagined when I started this podcast that I would hear from people asking me

1:16.0

to cover cases of their loved ones, but I am forever grateful that people want me to tell their story.

They were mothers. They were daughters. They were sisters. And that is something that I never

2:05.2

want to forget. I try to tell these stories with the intent to bring awareness about these cases,

2:11.9

even the ones that are solved. But I keep in mind the fact that these were real people whose families

2:18.2

or friends may be listening. So thank you Rosalie. Thank you for reaching out to me and asking me

2:24.9

to cover your sister's story. I hope that this can help in any way to bring you and your parents

2:30.8

justice to Charlene. A Rosie did an episode about her sister's murder on her own podcast,

2:36.9

which is called The Rosie Perspective. And I'm going to include a link to her episode in this week's

2:41.6

show notes. So please go and listen. In April 2009, Charlene Rosman was living in Everett,
