Today, I'm bringing you a case that was recently brought to my attention by my mom. Well, my mom and Robert Stack. Let me explain.

And you. Recently, my mom was visiting and I did what I always do with guests now, convinced them to

binge watch 90s era Unsolved Mysteries episodes with me.

I still can't get enough of that free Unsolved Mysteries rerun channel that came with our TV.

It's definitely my favorite thing lately.

In the middle of this, I went out to run an errand, and when I got back,

my mom was all excited to tell me about this case that was featured while I'd

been out. It was exciting to her because she remembered it. It had happened in her hometown when

she'd been a high school student. The victim was a high school student, too, a girl her own age,

and what happened to her had shocked the entire town. And to my mom's surprise, the case is still unsolved almost 40 years later.

So... That's how I knew it was close to home, by the way. Yes, so... It's a little different than normal.
