include sexual assault. Brittany Locklear was last seen alive on January 7, 1998.

She was five years old and lived with her mom, Connie, and stepfather in Rayford, North

Carolina, a small town about a 40-minute drive from the largest military base in the U.S.

Fort Bragg.

That morning began like any other one as Connie helped Brittany get ready for a day of kindergarten.

Connie helped her pick out an outfit that included green overalls, a matching green shirt,

and hair tie, and, most importantly, Brittany's beloved pink and white Pocahontas sneakers.

Wonderful choice.

Yeah.

The Disney movie Pocahontist had debuted just a couple years before, and Brittany was completely

enamored with it, as many kids were at that point in time.

As someone who also owned Pocahontas sneakers back then, I can tell you that Pocahontas
