Summary

In this short, Eric discusses two intriguing and mysterious disappearances.
First, the story of Diane Augat… this 40 year-old woman has a history of bipolar disorder and drug and alcohol abuse. After losing custody of her children and later getting divorced her life began to spiral out of control. She was last seen in April of 1998, however a mysterious phone call, believed to be from Augat reached her mother’s answering machine. A few days later her severed finger was found. Later her belongings began to turn up all over town. Who could have murdered this woman and what was the motive?
In our second disappearance, an innocent 8 year old boy vanished while passing through a crowd of people in Britain. His remains were found over 80 miles away. His death was later linked to a place known as The Elm Guest House where rich VIP politicians and judges would go to partake in disturbing sexual parties involving young boys. However the police appear to have worked very hard to cover up evidence tying any particular individual to this guest house. 0:42.0	particularly dark disappearances.
0:44.5	The first story is the disappearance of Diane Agat.
0:49.8	So let's go ahead and get started.
1:01.0	It was in a convenience store in Odessa, Florida that 40-year-old Diane Agat was last seen in 1998. A- had a psychiatric condition known as bipolar disorder and she was required to take medications. However, she really took them and did not have these with her the day she went missing.
1:16.4	Also she was known to have problems with alcohol and drugs in the past.
1:20.7	She had three children and was a stay-at-home mother, however years after her diagnosis they were taken from her custody.
1:28.0	She was divorced shortly thereafter and was subsequently arrested for minor offenses following this difficult period in her life.
1:35.0	On the morning of April 10, 1998, she was seen leaving her home.
1:41.0	Three days later, her mother received a call that was left on their answering machine.
1:45.8	It was from a woman who sounded like a cat crying, Help, help, let me out.
1:50.8	At the same time a sound consistent with that of someone trying to
1:54.9	steal the phone out of her hand could be heard on the line. The alleged a gat was heard saying,
2:01.1	hey give me that.
2:02.8	And then the line went dead.
2:04.8	The caller ID stated the call had come from a business known as Starlight in the Odessa
2:10.5	area.
2:11.5	However, when the mother called back, no one answered.
