we've got a quick update for you on one of the stories we told you a couple episodes ago,

the Julie Ferguson case. Oh, what's that?

So in that episode, we told you guys that investigators identified a man who had been interested in Julie and who she had turned it down and that that same man later went to

jail for a different murder.

And I was really frustrated by the fact that we only found this mentioned as a sort of

byline in one article,

and that police had apparently not released the name of that man.

Oh, did you find out who it is?

Yes, I did.

Thanks to someone pointing it out to me.

It turns out that the man has, in fact, been publicly named.

I just missed it.

It wasn't in any online articles or anything, but it was

mentioned in an episode of On the Case with Pauluson. In that episode of On the Case with Pauluson,

which is really good, by the way, it's revealed that the man's name is Noel David Smith.
