Angela Freeman was last seen alive on September 10, 1993.

She was 17 years old at the time and lived in Petal, Mississippi. Petal is a small town located just outside of Hattiesburg. At the time, it was home to

2:03.2

Now, Petal has actually been declared the safest city in the entire state of Mississippi several times over. In 2023, it was the only

2:09.8

town in the entire state to not experience a single murder or robbery, so pretty impressive.

2:15.9

That's better than most cities in America.
