On April 11th, 2017, approximately a little bit after midnight, our third shift officers

received a report of a juvenile that had gone missing.

When a missing person is reported to the police department in Litchfield, Kentucky, officers

are often able to locate that person by the end of their shift.

It's not a big city and there aren't that many places to go.

You know, a small town like this, you know, they'll beat the streets, they'll try to locate

friends, family, anywhere that child may or may not be.

I mean, it's not uncommon for a child to, you know, especially a 15, 16, 17 year old

child to come home late.

But Officer Sey Savannah Crawford's case felt different from the start.

In this case, for some reason, it just, I'm not going to say we took it more serious,

but there was just something about this case that didn't seem right.

Savannah Crawford was 16 years old in April of 2017 and the high schooler was known for

wandering the streets of her small community after school.

She always came home until one night.

She didn't.

The mother, we came concerned and had been out looking for the child.

So then she had contacted law enforcement in order to report that she was missing.

Five years later, police are still searching for answers.

I will work this case until the day I can't work it anymore.
