Welcome to the History of the World Podcast.

My name is Chris. And this is the history of the world unscripted. Oh, Well, here we are again, once again for another unscripted episode of the History of the World

Podcast. I'd like to wish you all a happy new year. This is the first podcast of 2019.

Here we are and let's have a look forward to what's coming up this year.

So I know a lot of you have been eagerly anticipating the second volume of podcasts regarding the ancient era and my

guess is that the podcast series should take around 30 episodes that's my punt at this moment in time.

I weren't far off when I took a punt on the prehistoric so I don't think I'm going to be far away. So we're going to be looking, I think, to be starting the first episode in around three weeks from now. So on the 26th of January I think I'm going to aim

for that as a start date. I've already started writing the material. I'm starting to

get into some deep and interesting stuff regarding Mesopotamian history in particular and I can't

wait to present it to you.

In fact I think we're going to be running this second volume from around about the end of January through to around August. So a good solid run of

podcasts. Hopefully I can keep them going each week in the same way that I did with the prehistoric.
