The History of the World Podcast, written and presented by Chris Hasler. This is the History of the World Podcast Unscripted. Oh, you know, yeah. Oh, you know, you're going to do you know,

0:53.0

now,

0:54.0

now, now now, Hello everyone. Welcome to the History of the World Podcast Unscripted with me Chris Hasler and thank you

1:16.3

so much for being patient with me I did expect to release this episode last week.

1:23.0

Unfortunately I ran out of time.

1:25.0

I didn't get time to post the episode.

1:29.0

So I've given you one this week and there will be another episode at the same time

1:35.0

tomorrow as well so a couple of unscripted episodes back to back just to make up for the

1:41.5

2:40.0

And the one that I did, the one that caught my attention was the book The Norman

2:47.2

Conquest by Mark Morris and I thought the the absolute strangeness of it being that you know I probably should have bought

2:55.7

this book before I recorded the Battle of Hastings episode but subsequently I bought

3:01.8

it afterwards just because it appealed to me as something that I would quite

3:05.2

like to read, especially with some background knowledge of it. Also I wrote about the Norman

3:12.0

Conquest a few years ago as well so I find myself

3:16.8

keep revisiting that episode in English history so but I would recommend that
