Years ago, a guest on my show said something I'm still thinking about today.

And if you read any of my books or listened for a while, you've no doubt heard me make this phrase because it just settled with me. And I just, and this was years before the pandemic, civil unrest,

inflation, global uncertainty, and what we're at least dealing with now. He said,

Susie, one of the greatest epidemics of the American church is unresolved grief. He says, we've all had a series of losses, but we've not slowed down

long enough to feel them and thus heal from them. Wow. And then think about all that's happened

in the last five years. Do you think there have been more losses, more hurts, disappointments,

more dashed dreams? So what are the consequences to moving

past losses too quickly? What does it cost us when we fill in those voids with things that

keep us from really feeling it and dealing with it in a way that helps us heal? And what does

healthy, even holy grief look like? Well, these are the topics we'll address today

with our good friend, Dr. Rob Reamer, who joins us every month to talk soul care. We'll get them on
