supposed to say or even think if you're a good liberal, a good conservative, or a good citizen.

I'm interested in people who break the rules of conventional thought

and to expand the scope of what is possible to say in our society.

I'm interested in people who make me think.

It has been said that the overarching theme of our times has been a crisis of authority.

And I think that's right.

And I think that one of the reasons for that crisis of authority is that for more than three years, virtually the entire educated class of Americans propounded the theory that Russia elected Donald Trump

and that Vladimir Putin controlled the politics of this country.

Thank God for people like this week's guest, because without them, I think I might have lost my mind,

standing now amid the rubble of what was once known as Russia Gate.
