Right now, Donald Trump is continuing to test our legal system in unprecedented ways.

After temporarily freezing a gag order against him, Judge Tanyaekin just reinstated it,

ruling the order should stay in effect while Trump's

lawyers pursue an appeal. Why, you may ask? Well, even in the very short window when it was on hold,

Donald Trump continued to attack people involved in the case. He took the truth social to send what

prosecutors called a threatening message about his former chief of staff, Mark Meadows.

A message that Judge Chutkin wrote in her decision would, quote, almost certainly violate the order.

To be clear, the Skaggorder is not prohibiting Trump from talking about the case.

The judge is simply saying he cannot lash out against witnesses and prosecutors.

Doesn't sound that unreasonable to me.

But of course Trump can't seem to help himself.

Case in point.

Just minutes after the gag order was reinstated, Trump attacked another likely witness in the

case, his former attorney general Bill Barr.

Trump called him, among many other things, lazy and a loser. Trump was upset with

Barr again, a likely witness in this case, that's what's important here, because of some

critical comments Barr made about him in a recent interview. Well, he's already saying it's

going to be about retribution, and he's, you know, he's a very petty man.

And it's all about him.

And he has a very fragile ego.

And, you know, something happened to him as a kid,

and I'm not going to spend time psychoanalyzing it. But, you know, every encounter he has to come out showing the other guy that he's better.
