Hey moms, this is Heidi St. John. I'm coming to you this morning from my little corner of

the world in Washington state and I'm looking out my window as I'm recording this podcast

and it is dumping down rain. This is what the Northwest I think is known for the most

although it's a very well kept secret that it is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful in

this part of the country and the rain is sort of the price we pay I think in some ways

for that. But I love the rain. I was born in Portland, Oregon, raised in Gresham and

boring Oregon. Yes, it's a town and love the rain. There's something healing about rain.

There's something I think soothing and calming about a day where the the sky is dark and

the rain is coming down. It's something that sort of makes you want to curl up in a little

ball and you know with a good book and sit by the fire and today is one of those days.
