hi everyone welcome to in bloom podcast and my name is abby ascelin if you are new here and I'm the host of this podcast. Super excited to be

talking to you all about unpopular opinions this week. So I'm going to be sharing some of my

unpopular opinions and I also had you all submit some of your unpopular opinions on the In Bloom

and yeah I just thought this would be something fun to do I've seen this like go around like on

YouTube and podcast as well I believe and I just think that it would be something fun to just do that like we could like laugh

together about and like I don't know I think it's just interesting to see like what things people

like feel strongly about that like aren't that others don't really feel very strongly about like

I just feel like I have some very like specific things that I've just like always felt strongly

about that aren't

very popular opinions. And some of these might actually be popular opinions, but they feel

unpopular given the, like, attention the current thing has in, like, social media, if that makes

sense. So I just thought it would be something fun to do something different and it would just be

enjoyable for us. And I think reading y'all's unpopular

opinions made me laugh. So some of them made me laugh. Some of them I was like, how could you

say that? But y'all will see as we get into it. But you'll know I like to do a quote,

goal, and gratitude before I get into the episode. So this week's quote is from actually from the gifts of imperfection,

which is a book I read earlier this year by Renee Brown. And it is we can't selectively numb

emotions. When we numb the painful emotions, we also numb the positive emotions. I love this
