We're getting married out of choice.

And the same goes for having children.

And so if that's the case, then having a conversation about why are we getting married?

What do we want for our lives?

Why are we having a family? What do we want that to look like? What do we want for our lives? Why are we

having a family? What do we want that to look like? What are we trying to grow and develop here?

I don't think that the goals of a professional life have to go away in order to do that. I think there

Thank you for having me. Really a pleasure to be here. So why don't you give our listeners a short

summary about what it is you do in your background? I am a marriage and family therapist, as you mentioned,

and I have a private practice here in Austin, Texas. I provide psychotherapy to individuals,

couples, families, but I primarily work with a lot of young professionals these past few years.
