What is happening?

Not much happened today.

Well, actually, for a while, not much had happened.

But it turns out that there was, you know, a fair amount of action on deadline day.

But here we are 6 p.m. Eastern looking to wrap this thing up.

You know what? If you're soliciting any future story ideas, I feel like a fascinating one would be like being at the league office on trade deadline day and giving us behind the scenes of the queue process

and all the processing because there's got to be a better way to do this and I get the

idea of the deadline and you know the last minute machinations and everything and putting it

all together right before the last possible second at the same time from a process

and workflow perspective there's got to be a better way to trickle out these trades as opposed to

waiting all day for nothing and then all of a sudden an hour past the deadline we're finding

out now some goddry's going to the a abs and all this other stuff's happening and it's kind of just

drinking out of a fire hose as opposed to the few drops here all this other stuff's happening and it's kind of just drinking out of a fire hose
