The treatment of the opposition, everything that has happened, has been quite shocking.

Provisional results from Thursday's vote show him well ahead of the

main opposition candidate. This election has been marred by voting delays and allegations of ballot

stuffing, security concerns, and internet blackouts. Ebenezer Obadare is an African Studies

Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations in Washington. I asked him if this was a fair

election. It wasn't a fair election. Nobody expected it to be a fair election. Even the leading

candidate, Bobby Wine, I'm sure he fully expected President Museveni to win. So the treatment of

the opposition, everything that has happened has been quite

shocking, but I have to say no surprises here. Yeah, so tell me more about what has happened and how

the opposition has been treated. So if you listen to, I'm finding to a couple of statements,

one by the United Nations Human Rights Agency, and I believe that was another one by Amnesty International.
