So, me, my daughter were driving yesterday.

I have to go get some bubble tea.

That's like one of our new things is, we'll drive around the city looking for a new spot

to explore.

She's really into anime and I kind of just dive into the culture of whatever she likes

so I can just shamelessly connect.

But I actually do enjoy anime and I love me some bubble tea because y'all know I like

my tea.

She's becoming summertime right now so I need ideas for cold brew tea recipes.

So anyways we're driving, we have our bubble tea.

She has a strawberry banana.

I have like a mint mango pineapple tea.

I don't know exactly what the flavor was but it was, it was divine.

And she notices a tree and she says to me, Dad, can you see a tree grow?

I don't know what that means.

Like, can you see a tree grow?

I never see a girl like if you stare at it, can you see a tree grow?

And I was like, well, it's an unnoticed growth.

We know it's growing but when we look at it, it looks stagnant.

But we only notice the major shifts in seasons like when the leaves fall or when they blossom

again or when they change colors.

But throughout the day, every millisecond, every second, the trees are growing.
