dissect the weekends football from the EFL. George Ehrlich on the line with me, Ali Maxwell. Hello, George. How are you on this Monday morning?

Hello, Ali. You're a bit of a throwback to be recording over Skype, isn't it? Because we've done our most recent

collection of podcasts two metres apart, always. But this time we are back looking at each other on a screen some miles apart in fact your

hair is fantastic anyone I mean nobody else can see it but it's quite long it's very fluffy

you've obviously washed it and you look a little bit like adam Armstrong did during lockdown I would

say I okay on sky on Friday night we've got a few funny things to mention about this.

First of all, how well the players that we're talking about on a Friday night keep doing.

We picked up Adam Armstrong and his move to play through the middle for Blackburn,

and he followed that up by scoring a hat trick the day later.

We talked about Tyrese Dolan and Michael O'Leese this week and they

both had a good game which we will discuss on this pod. But also, what happens is when you're talking

and when there's clips being shown, there's a screen sort of five metres away in the studio that you

can look at so that you can watch the clips that you guys are seeing at home and you can kind of talk over them you know the timings and then it cuts back to the studio and if

you're still looking at the screen you see yourself and it can be a little off-putting but

I caught myself at the end of our segment on Friday night and genuinely while I was talking

I thought to myself,

Jesus, mate, you need a haircut.

That is a really, really bad lid you've got right now.

So this morning, wash the hair in anticipation of a haircut after we finished recording.

And that is a very mundane way to start the podcast.

There was also, you were really giggling at me on Friday night as well.
