That was unnatural helpers, off of their self-titled album, put out by ERO.com out of Seattle, Washington.

Looks like they're from a largely overlooked sector of the Seattle music scene that started in the mid to late 90s.

A very loose affiliation of similarly-minded rock bands. They remained obscure and casual.

Friends frequently filled in for missing members of each other's bands.

Within this mix was a band called The Double Fudge.

This was Dean Whitmore and Mike Warren who were pushing out as they say sloppy vocals over minute long blasts of Scuzz Rock Riffs.

Double Fudge managed to release a pair of 7-inch singles containing a staggering 21 songs between them.

The releases went mostly unpurchased, but these two collaborative efforts stand today as a birth of unnatural helpers.

Double Fudge eventually came to an end and Dean served as drummer in any number of buddy bands including Welcome, the intelligence, the diapers, and Mars accelerator.

Then the unnatural helpers appeared as the first lineup with Lars Finnberg on guitar, Jed Mayhew on bass, and Dean on drums and vocals.

Two years later, they materialized in late 2004.

Dean reunited with Mike and headed into a basement studio under the guidance of another colleague.

They're in the freshly Christian Biamp lab. The trio conspired to record a few dozen songs.

Six of which ended up on this album.

The band kind of fell apart and reformed 2005.

Joining Dean and Mike was Jesse Stention and Ace Guitars from Local Favorites.

The pulses and Matt Olson have failed stand-up comedian and novice bass player.

So this squad that put in five additional tracks that made it on this album as well.
