Deny, deflect and delay was the standard policy of the IDF in Gaza whenever there were claims of tragic accidents or crimes. First they’d deny all knowledge, before flooding the zone with reasons to blame somebody else. Then they’d promise an investigation with an outcome to be published - some day. Now the Trump administration and the US military is accused of doing exactly the same thing about the missile strike which destroyed an Iranian school - killing many children - almost three full months ago.
