A statistics over a one year period, 27% of young adolescents

reported thoughts of self harm.

Let's just call it one quarter.

One in four of our 12 to 16 year olds have thought, yeah, I want to hurt myself.

15% reported at least one act of self harm.

The issue that is increasingly prevalent among young people

is also making its way up to older people as we see a culture,

not quite understanding how to cope with traumatic events, difficulties, pain experiences.
