It's been a while since you've been on the show, and a lot has happened over the past year. So if I could just catch up with a couple of small things that I know that have been on people's mind. More recently, before we get into some of the bigger topics, I know you want to talk about.

First and foremost, in everybody's mind, is what has just happened with these railworkers.

against the wishes of 55% of real voters who voted it down. And I wonder what you make of that. Is it fair to be

throwing any criticism their way? And how do you make of how progressives, generally speaking,

have been handling these sorts of moments where they could potentially be heightening the

contradictions between themselves and the kind of politics that are represented by mainstream
