It’s easy to dream in your mind, but it takes dedication to bring those dreams into reality. Life is full of distractions—both from within and from the outside world—but your ability to focus on what you want, and not on what you don’t want, is key to making those dreams come true.
Successful people know that it’s not just about what they do—it’s about what they don’t do. They don’t waste time or energy on negative thoughts or conversations about what could go wrong. When you focus on what you want, you expand those positive outcomes in your life. Talking about your fears only gives them more power, which is why it’s essential to be mindful of your thoughts and words.
Everything you focus on, you expand. The universe doesn’t differentiate between good or bad—it simply responds to your energy. That’s why even negative attention can help something grow. It’s the same with your own life. Whether you focus on joy or pain, abundance or lack, the universe will give you more of what you’re focused on.
If you want more abundance, joy, or success, it starts with focusing your attention on those things, even if they don’t seem present in your life yet.
