podcast. Very, very excited because we have a wonderful guest with us today. I'm going to

refer to you as Dr. Sidney Watson, which I also want the story about that too. But Sydney,

you have been a long time follow of ours on Twitter. We have watched your work with a lot of

admiration for a long time, but it was a recent appearance that you made on a

vice panel about feminism that really caught our attention and the attention of so many other

folks on Twitter. We want to know how that panel came to be because you and Pearl were like

rock stars of that panel. We want to hear all the dirt

about some of the other guests, how that panel came to be, and what the reaction has been since.

Well, firstly, thank you for having me. This is really exciting because I've actually

read your blog for a little while, so there is that. Oh, nice nice oh my gosh that's yeah i know it's like mutual

mutual love happening um so the vice panel kind of came to fruition i suppose because they just reached out

and they said would you like to participate on this feminism panel and i was like i'm actually

leaving to go back home to australia in like you know a week after they were going to have it or a

couple of days after so i was like yeah we're cutting it fine, but let's do it. That sounds like a good

idea. So we went through the whole process of them calling me and in a sense, I guess, interviewing

me asking me all these questions about my opinions. And I thought, maybe I'm going to be like

the most right-wing person on the panel. And I'm not sure that that actually turned out to be the case,

which kind of makes me laugh a little bit. But they flew me out to New York and I, you know,
