I'm Entertainment Writer Jim Hill and what with this being our first show for January of 2019 on behalf of my co-host

Destin Fuse let me wish all of you a happy new year. How exactly did you and

Jill ring in 2019 Dustin? I think we did what most people did and avoided going out into the craziness and I think we just played board games. So, you know, can't go around with the new way of bringing in the new years.

I have to admit it probably not good to admit this on a universal podcast but

Nancy and I were home it was was awful with it that night in fact anybody who

watched the the stuff

that was going on in Times Square knew that.

I kind of felt bad because they were been talking previously

during the day of how they'd be dropping

3,000 pounds of confetti on everyone in Times Square and it's just sort of all I can think of is

Okay, so you throw it out in the rain so that's basically 3,000 pounds of paper mache. Nothing like you know bringing in the new year with a head injury but about 15 or 20 minutes before the actual physical ball drop in Times Square. The weather got so bad here that we lost satellite signal.

Oh wow. But Nancy was clever enough that the Disney Parks were streaming the fireworks and then the

Count-At-A-New Year live, so she pulled out her tablet and streamed it to our

television, and so it was kind of bizarre to get

there and watch what was going on in Orlando. Have you done New York for New

Year's Eve? I have done Macy's, the Thanksgiving Day parade, there in the city three times.

And every time I sort of think about doing New Year's Eve, since 9-11, they now do this thing where they basically put you in a corral for 10 to 12
