Hey Bob, good to be with you again. We're back here with our next episode on marriage and we're going through these five key areas to

marital communion and last episode we talked about spiritual unity and I

really I really appreciated that and just diving in we kind of dove deep and I hope our

listeners are starting to pray that our father together with their spouses and I hope

that's just blessing them I think it's just a beautiful simple way to connect in spiritual unity.

And today we're diving into we'll see at least we're gonna start with the next stage of this you to marital communion and Bob you used the analogy before and I really like it as like

building a house and so the foundation is spiritual unity that's the thing that everything else rests upon and then from there we are brought into

and can grow an emotional intimacy and then the next is companionship, then teamwork,

then all of that leads to sexual intimacy.

And I think sometimes, maybe I'll speak for myself and maybe some other men, maybe women too,

is that we like to invert that and kind of go, hey, let's do

sexual intimacy first. And I think the subtle lie that happens there is then we stop at that

and we don't realize that we stop there because of the power of

sexual unity it's not that it's bad it's just it's really it's really powerful
