Hello. Hello everybody. We're here again. Thanks for taking the time to listen to our voices. Episode 73

of Trivia for Kids of the podcast. I'm Casey. I'm Quinn. And we're excited to be here today with you

to talk about some new stuff. So I was going to talk to you guys about our show and why we do it the way

we do it. Um, because I've gotten some feedback a few times that when we give the answers to the

questions that we talk too much and then the episode is too

long and people wish that we would just say the question and move on. But I find that when I'm

learning, if I just hear the answer and I don't really get any explanation for it, I don't remember

what the answer was. And since I'm a real proponent of lifelong learning,

I want people to retain this information. And so let me give you an example. Last week, we did a

panda category and one of the questions was about true or false pandas hibernate like other bears.

And the answer was false. And then we went ahead to tell you

that the reason that they don't is because they don't store enough fat in their body because all they

eat is bamboo and bamboo doesn't have enough fat for them to be able to sleep through the winter.

So I feel like, you know, once you know why they don't hibernate, you can better remember that fact.

So that's why we do what we do and why we talk about a little more afterward is for better retention.

Because I feel like, you know, we'll learn more and we'll be able to remember stuff better.
