Good morning church family. My name is Josh Christi and I have the joy of serving as one of our small group coordinators for the Young Adult ministry and also as a collector for the financial ministry.

Our passage today is Ephesians 1-14.

Paul and Apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, to the saints who are in Ephesus and are faithful in Christ Jesus.

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places.

Even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world that we should be holy and blameless before him.

In love he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ according to the purpose of his will, to the pleries of his glorious grace with which he has blessed us in the beloved.

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses according to the riches of his grace which he has lavished upon us in all wisdom and insight making known to us the mystery of his will according to the purpose which he set forth in Christ as a plan for the fullness of time to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.

In him we have obtained inheritance have been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will so that we who were the first hope in Christ might be to the praise of his glory.

In him you also when you heard the word of truth the gospel of your salvation and believed in him were sealed with the promise of Holy Spirit who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it to the praise of his glory.

This is the word of the Lord. Thanks be to God.

All right. I'll tell you in just a minute why I decided to open up in Spanish.

All right. But my name is Michael Morris and I'm one of the elders here at TVC and I also want to welcome those who are members and friends who are joining us this morning via the live stream.

In the ninth grade I took Spanish. My Spanish teacher was Miss Beverly Thomas. Miss Thomas had recently come to our school to teach Spanish. She was young. She was beautiful.

And I'm sure every ninth grade or eighth grade or seventh grade or had a crush on Miss Thomas like I did.

All of the girls noticed one thing about Miss Thomas. That year at our school she never, well I say never, only one or maybe twice wore the same dress.

I mean she was a knockout. Miss Thomas also did something in her class one day and I'll tell you what she did. She outed me.
