live streamed on Rock Finn and today we have a great show we had a lot of help putting this together by Miss Monica Perez who helped out quite a bit putting this great group of people together and we're going to be talking about homesteading.

We're going to talk about farming, food, you know, you see a lot of supply chain issues,

you see a lot of people being much more open-minded to homesteading and kind of growing their own food

and whatnot so we're going to get into some of those topics and anything else

kind of connected to it. Monica because you were a huge help not to put you on the spot but is there any

any specific topic and any direction you like to kind of start off with?

Yeah I have a friend a guy who I've had on my show a couple of times a lawyer who's hanging up his practice and just bought like dozens of acres of land in I think Oregon. I was like whoa, how do you do that I mean I feel like you're going to want to start a little slower whatever

but I had the idea of getting this group together and talking about kind of how you get started.

People here have started from nothing, have gotten huge pieces of land.

So I was curious about that and then I also wonder how you can dedicate yourself to the out to to this

endeavor and not totally disconnect in case the government comes through your you know right to collect rainwater or like

with COVID or the avian flu they want to slaughter your chickens so I wonder how do you

get started but how do you keep from just completely getting off-grid and being vulnerable?

So those are my two kind of bookends of the beginning and the end of what I'm interested in.

Yeah, and I think another part, a huge part of this is this idea that we don't have enough food for everybody, right?
