On the evening of Sunday, December 22, 2013, a 911 operator in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma dispatched officers to a home

on the

northeast part of the city

after receiving a call from a woman about a disturbance there,

a matter of domestic violence.

The caller told the emergency operator that her boyfriend, 36-year-old Willie Cornelius

Boli, also known as Toot, had beaten her and that she'd shot him.

When officers arrived at the scene, the woman had already removed the firearms magazine and met them outside.

Boly, her boyfriend, was dead.

This event, paperwork notwithstanding, ended there.

The woman was, rightfully, never charged in the incident.

And though Willie Boli's life ended there there too, it seemed to be only a matter of time.

His record in Texas, consisting mostly of occurrences that took place in the late 1990s shows a pattern of criminal

activity and violence, assault, criminal mischief, and terroristic

threatening and a few months shy of two years prior to Boli's girlfriend shooting him to death in self-defense.

Another incident of domestic violence had caused him to flee from justice.

He was still on the lam, in fact, when his life ended.

On March 24th, 2012, around midnight, Willie Boly and his 52-year-old wife were visiting

a rural property in an area outside the East Texas City of Palestine, where he'd

been building a house.
