devotional, unhurried grace for a mom's heart, 31 days in God's word. Each devotional is less than 10 minutes long.

I start out by reading a short scripture passage and then share some thoughts from my own heart as written in my devotional.

I'll ask some questions to help you dig deeper, and then I'll end in prayer.

Today's devotional is called Redeemer of Messes.

The scripture passage I'll read from comes from Isaiah 45, 18 to 25.

You've probably noticed that Isaiah is one of my favorite books of the

Bible. For the Lord is God, and he created the heavens and earth and put everything in place.

He made the world to be lived in, not to be a place of empty chaos. I am the Lord, he says, and there is no other.

I publicly proclaim bold promises. I do not whisper obscurities in some dark corner. I would not have told the people of Israel to seek me if I could not be found. I, the Lord, speak only what is

true and declare only what is right. Gather together and come, you fugitives from surrounding

nations.

What fools they are who carry around their wooden idols and pray to gods that cannot save.

Consult together.
