i've just been weirdly really busy i think it's like the holidays and all of that jazz but

here i am back with another episode I'm really excited about this episode.

Welcome back to Parked Car Convo's. I'm Maddie Mitchell. And today I wanted to talk about Hallmark movies. And I know what you're thinking. Why? And that's a valid question.

And I would like to explain it to you because this process and this episode is kind of

threefold I guess you could say number one I there is always a Hallmark movie

Christmas movie on in my house okay for those of you who are unfamiliar I'm sure all

of you know about Hallmark Christmas movies. They are like sisters

of Lifetime Christmas movies, only worse. Um, and they're just all around. They're bad, right?

They're very predictable, very dry movies. There's never anything too deep going on. They tend to follow the same plot of, you know,

a classic one is big city real estate agent goes back to her small town for the Christmas

festival. And when she's there, she runs into her high school sweetheart and they strike up a romance all

while planning the Christmas festival together.

And then they end up raising enough money to help the town and they fall in love.

And then she decides she's going to stay in mistletoe lane forever.

That's pretty much how they all go. Some variation of that,

they all have titles like Christmas in Christmas City, holidays at Mountain View Inn.

They're all the same exact movie, just different fonts. They use all of the same actors. So it's kind of borderline incestual as well because you'll be seeing all of the same

actors be dating each other in different movies. And it's just, it's just just weird and there's also a lot of problems within

the hallmark movies like they just started having um people of color be leads because for the longest

time they were like no no no we have diversity in our movies and it was always there was always

stereotypically a black woman was the best friend of the main character and was never a lead.
